Congrats on finding the bike you’ve been looking for and welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately I am unable to see the pictures.
I’m sorry, I’m going to have to postpone this ride.
Maybe another day that we both have off
That sounds good to me.
Sounds like one of my buddies will be joining us too
I could meet you in red deer, have to go right by it anyways
I changed my phone number a little over a year ago, so I assume it would be different now.
it’s now 6394712692
So I have a plan now. On July 2nd:
I’ll leave my place in Sangudo around 6am, take sec 759 then hwy 20 to Sylvan Lake, then take hwy 2 to get to hwy 42 in order to cut across to hwy 21 down to Drumheller. Approx a 4 hr ride to stop in at the Last Chance Saloon in Wayne just outside of Drumheller.
Leaving at 6 would get me to Sylvan Lake around 830am, I’ll stop there for a little breather if anyone wants to meet me there. I predict that we would arrive in Wayne around 11-1130am.
I should be able to do the ride on the 2nd or 3rd of July
Not sure if you found anyone yet.
I live out in Sangudo but I do frequent the south Edmonton area often.
If you’re still looking for a supervisor
So far it’s looking good for me to be able to do this ride on July 16th or 17th.
I could probably even do it on an earlier weekend as well, if someone is interested
Yeah, would be nice. I also hope I’ll be available. That’s supposed to be a free weekend for me but things don’t always happen as they’re supposed to
I’ve gotten my bike out for a couple short rides, unfortunately I still need to take my bike in for some servicing before I can bring it home and ride it more.
Should have that done around the 20th
I just don’t have a garage on my property, yet.
Just means I can build it to suit me…
maybe, my job tends to get stupidly busy in the summer (plus i got myself a house out in the boondocks :D)
I made the ride to Drumheller a couple years ago with tpadams from this site, it was a great day. We went to Wayne, AB and stopped in the Last Chance Saloon for lunch…great bike stop
Yeah, we should totally do this again. Should plan to do it this summer
I went to the Edmonton one, I thought it was better than last years event.
Harley has finally got on board with adding some electronic doo dads to its road glide (similar to the gold wing 15 years ago)
The nc750x looks like it got a little beefier in terms of off-road
