Super pumped for this riding season to start. I bought an 05 vulcan nomad on the weekend. As much fun as I've had on the old bike, im looking forward to this one!

If anyone knows of someone looking for an older bike, ive got an 81 xs1100 special for sale.. ill post it in the for sale section.

      Anyone else been out shopping?

        New toys are always exciting!

I think I’ll stick with what I have for now, but a big thumper might be my next choice…either a KLR650 or a DR650. I want to do some back country exploring and get a few pictures!

But I think I will pay off debt first…then new toys  8)

I just can’t wait to start riding again. My brother went down to Arizona and rented a Harley. Just got back yesterday. Said it was amazing.

Congrats on the new steed ! Looks great….and this is exactly what you were looking to buy since mid summer ….. good on you  πŸ™‚  Enjoy the fruits of your research.

Looking forward to meeting up during 2016 for another few summer rips again.  Maybe we can meet up with a few other members as well, possibly down South, as those southern members might not know where Edmonton & St. Albert are  ;D  ;D.

I think that’s a great idea…and I may know where those places are, lived in both cities in the 90s.

In a couple more months we will be talking about our first meet up…and I’m hoping to be getting many more miles in this year!

Thanks Jon – that sounds like a good idea, I hear the badlands out by drumheller are an awesome ride. You been getting out on the ural much this winter? Given the weather we’ve had, theres not much excuse not to be.

Out on the backroads whenever possible! !
Been seeing the odd 2 wheelers out along Edmonton streets. … gutsy but prolly enjoyable on their part ? !

I made the ride to Drumheller a couple years ago with tpadams from this site, it was a great day. We went to Wayne, AB and stopped in the Last Chance Saloon for lunch…great bike stop
