Once again, Calgary motorcycle and scooter riders are invited to come and park at the base of the TransCanada Tower to help celebrate Ride to Work Day, an event that helps promote the benefits of riding a motorcycle or scooter to work.
In exchange for the free parking, each rider is asked to make a $5 donation to help support the ECL Choppers for Charity Ride. Funds raised by this ride go towards supporting hospice and respite care at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. By donating, you’ll also be eligible to win door prizes, a People’s Choice prize and to join us after work for a ride to Black Diamond.
There's room for about 200 motorcycles / scooters to park, so if you ride and work in downtown Calgary we hope to see you there!
WHEN: June 15, 2015, 6:30 am – 5 pm (ish). The after-work ride will start around 4 pm.
WHERE: TransCanada Tower 450 – 1st Street S.W. Calgary, AB (Look for all the bikes. There will also be volunteers showing you where to park your bike.)
